How to Convert Your Sensitivity to CS2
- Pick the game you’re converting from.

CS2 Sensitivity Formula
CS2 uses the same yaw value as other Source-engine games: 0.022. The converter matches games by the physical mouse distance needed for a full 360° turn:
cm/360 = (360 ÷ (yaw × sens × DPI)) × 2.54
Because both games turn the same distance for the same hand movement, your muscle memory carries over.
Tips for Finding Your Best CS2 Sensitivity
- Start from your converted value, then fine-tune in small steps.
- Most CS2 players play somewhere between about 600 and 1200 eDPI, but comfort matters more than any average.
- Use a mouse pad big enough for your cm/360 so you can make full turns without lifting.
- Keep your DPI fixed and change only in-game sensitivity so your comparisons stay clean.
