How this converter works: Each game uses a different yaw multiplier — the internal rate at which mouse movement turns into camera rotation. Formula: New Sens = (Old Sens × 0.0066) ÷ 0.07 (then adjusted for DPI if changed). Warzone / COD yaw = 0.0066 · Valorant yaw = 0.07

Warzone to Valorant Sensitivity Converter — How It Works

Warzone (and Call of Duty in general) uses a much higher sensitivity scale than Valorant — typical Warzone sensitivities range from 4 to 10, while Valorant sensitivities range from 0.2 to 0.6. Entering your Warzone number directly into Valorant produces an enormously oversensitive result.

Warzone yaw = 0.0066 · Valorant yaw = 0.07

Valorant’s scale is approximately 10.6× higher than Warzone’s. A Warzone sensitivity of 6.0 converts to approximately 0.5660 in Valorant.

Our converter uses the verified yaw multiplier for both games to calculate a sensitivity that preserves your exact cm/360 turn distance — your flicks and tracking carry over precisely.

Valorant Sens = Warzone Sens × (0.0066 ÷ 0.07)

Valorant Sens = Warzone Sens × 0.0943

// Example: 6.0 × 0.0943 = 0.5658
// With DPI change: multiply by (Warzone DPI / Valorant DPI)

Important:

Make sure your Warzone sensitivity is set on a 0–20 scale (the default PC/console scale), not the legacy 0.01–7.0 decimal scale used in some older Call of Duty titles. Check Settings → Mouse & Keyboard → Horizontal Stick/Look Sensitivity to confirm your scale.

Why Warzone and Valorant Sensitivity Scales Are So Different

Call of Duty’s engine uses a sensitivity slider on a 0.01–20 scale designed to give players fine control across a huge range, whereas Valorant uses Riot’s own engine with a much steeper yaw curve. This results in one of the largest scale differences of any FPS game pair.

A Warzone player who enters their typical sensitivity (e.g. 6.0) directly into Valorant would be playing at over 10× their normal aiming speed — the crosshair would fly across the screen with the smallest mouse movement, making the game completely unplayable until corrected.

Tips for Switching From Warzone to Valorant

1. Confirm you’re using horizontal stick/look sensitivity

Warzone has separate horizontal and vertical sensitivity settings, plus ADS sensitivity multipliers per scope type. This converter uses your base horizontal look sensitivity, found at Settings → Mouse & Keyboard → Horizontal Look Sensitivity.

2. Valorant’s TTK is much faster — precision matters more than speed

Warzone’s higher health pools and armor plates allow for longer gunfights and correction time. Valorant’s near-instant kills mean your first shot needs to be accurate. Your converted sensitivity gives you matching precision, but the pacing adjustment takes practice.

3. Don’t rely on Warzone’s ADS sensitivity multipliers

Call of Duty games apply different ADS sensitivity multipliers per weapon/scope type. Valorant uses one single global ADS multiplier (default 1.0). After converting your hipfire sensitivity, test Valorant’s default ADS setting before making any adjustments.

4. Expect a big mental adjustment — the scale numbers look very different

Going from a number like 6.0 in Warzone to 0.566 in Valorant feels strange initially, even though the physical mouse speed is identical. Trust the converted number — do not manually increase it because it “feels low” on paper.

5. Check Windows mouse acceleration and DPI accuracy

Disable “Enhance pointer precision” in Windows Mouse settings. Many gaming mice misreport DPI — verify your actual DPI with our DPI Analyzer before finalizing your conversion.

Warzone to Valorant Sensitivity — Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Warzone to Valorant sensitivity formula?
The formula is: Valorant Sensitivity = Warzone Sensitivity × (0.0066 ÷ 0.07), which equals Warzone Sensitivity × 0.0943. For example, a Warzone sensitivity of 6.0 converts to 0.5658 in Valorant at the same DPI. If switching DPI, multiply further by (Warzone DPI ÷ Valorant DPI).

Yes. Warzone and standard Call of Duty multiplayer (Modern Warfare, Black Ops, etc.) use the same sensitivity scale and yaw multiplier, since they run on the same engine. This converter applies to both modes equally.

Because Valorant's yaw multiplier is over 10 times higher than Warzone's, meaning the same physical aiming speed requires a much smaller number in Valorant. A Warzone sensitivity of 6.0 and a Valorant sensitivity of 0.566 represent the exact same physical mouse movement for a full 360° turn.

No. Warzone's per-weapon ADS multipliers do not have a direct equivalent in Valorant, which uses a single global ADS sensitivity setting (default 1.0, same as hipfire). Convert your base hipfire sensitivity using this tool, then adjust Valorant's ADS multiplier separately if needed after testing.

Modern Warzone uses a 0.01–20 sensitivity scale for PC mouse and keyboard players. Older Call of Duty titles sometimes use a different 1–10 controller-style scale. Confirm you are reading your Mouse & Keyboard Horizontal Look Sensitivity specifically, not a controller stick sensitivity value.
Yes. The reverse formula is: Warzone Sensitivity = Valorant Sensitivity × (0.07 ÷ 0.0066) = Valorant Sensitivity × 10.606. Contact us if you'd like a dedicated Valorant to Warzone converter page added.
