CS2 to Apex Legends Sensitivity Converter — How It Works
CS2 and Apex Legends share the same internal hipfire yaw multiplier — both use 0.022 degrees per mouse count. This means if you keep the same DPI, your CS2 sensitivity number translates directly to Apex’s hipfire sensitivity without any mathematical change.

The conversion ratio is 1:1 at the same DPI. A CS2 sensitivity of 1.0 at 800 DPI = Apex hipfire sensitivity of 1.0 at 800 DPI — identical physical mouse movement.

When do you actually need to convert?
Same DPI → No change needed
If you use 800 DPI in CS2 and will use 800 DPI in Apex, your sensitivity number is already correct. Just enter it to confirm your eDPI and cm/360.

Tips for Switching From CS2 to Apex Legends
1. Your hipfire is already right — ADS needs separate attention
In CS2, scoped and unscoped sensitivity is the same. In Apex, ADS sensitivity is a separate setting. Your hipfire will feel exactly like CS2 immediately. However, after applying your hipfire sensitivity in Apex, test your ADS and adjust separately under Settings → Mouse → ADS Sensitivity.
2. Apex allows more movement during gunfights
CS2 rewards holding tight angles with minimal movement. Apex allows sliding, climbing, and repositioning during fights. Your precise aim transfers, but the habit of stopping to shoot before clicking will need adjustment — Apex rewards more dynamic movement.
3. Increase your FOV if coming from CS2’s default 4:3
CS2 defaults to a 68° vertical FOV on 4:3 resolution, which is narrower than Apex’s default 90°+. Switching to Apex’s higher default FOV will make the game feel wider and can make the same sensitivity feel slightly faster perceptually — even though the cm/360 is unchanged.
4. Apex’s longer TTK means more tracking time
CS2 gunfights end in 1–2 headshots. Apex involves sustained tracking through shield breaks and health pools. Your tracking accuracy transfers directly from CS2, but the duration and pace of fights requires an adjustment period.
5. Confirm mouse acceleration is disabled system-wide
Disable “Enhance pointer precision” in Windows. Both CS2 and Apex have raw input modes that bypass Windows settings, but disabling it at the system level ensures consistent behaviour across both games.
