Valorant to Apex Legends Sensitivity Converter — How It Works
Valorant and Apex Legends use different internal sensitivity scales. A sensitivity of 0.3 in Valorant does not translate to 0.3 in Apex — each game uses its own yaw multiplier, the rate at which a single mouse count is converted into degrees of camera rotation.

Apex’s scale is approximately 3.18× lower than Valorant’s. A Valorant sensitivity of 0.3 converts to approximately 0.9545 in Apex hipfire sensitivity.

Why Valorant and Apex Sensitivity Scales Are Different
Rainbow Six Siege was built on Ubisoft’s AnvilNext engine and uses a percentage-based sensitivity slider (1–100). Valorant uses Riot’s own engine with a decimal sensitivity value. Because the underlying yaw calculations per engine are different, the same number in each game produces a dramatically different physical aiming speed.
A Valorant player typing their sensitivity directly into Apex without conversion will find their camera rotates 3.18× slower than expected for the same mouse movement — flicks will fall short, and tracking will feel disconnected from input.

Apex demands fast reflexes for sliding, climbing, and repositioning during fights — your converted sensitivity gives you the same flick accuracy, but Apex’s mobility mechanics will take some practice regardless of sensitivity accuracy.

Tips For Switching From Valorant To Apex Legends
1. Set both hipfire and ADS sensitivity in Apex
Unlike Valorant, Apex separates hipfire and ADS sensitivity into two distinct settings you control directly. Our converter gives you the hipfire value. Start with Apex’s default ADS multiplier and adjust from there based on feel.

2. Apex movement requires more mouse precision during fast actions
Sliding, mantling, and using tactical abilities all happen while you’re tracking enemies. Your converted sensitivity preserves your flick and tracking accuracy, but adjusting to Apex’s faster movement pace takes separate practice.
3. Increase your FOV gradually
Apex supports FOV up to 110°, higher than Valorant’s fixed 103°. A higher FOV makes the same physical mouse movement feel like it covers more screen space. This is a visual perception change, not a sensitivity issue — your conversion remains accurate.
4. Expect a longer adjustment period for fights
Apex’s slower time-to-kill means gunfights last longer and require more sustained tracking compared to Valorant’s instant headshot kills. Your aim accuracy transfers immediately, but pacing and positioning instincts take longer to adapt.
5. Verify mouse acceleration is off in Windows
Go to Windows Settings → Mouse → Additional mouse options → Pointer Options → uncheck Enhance pointer precision. Apex Legends has native raw input support, but disabling Windows-level acceleration ensures consistency across all your games.
