CS2 to Valorant Sensitivity Converter — How It Works
CS2 and Valorant use completely different internal sensitivity scales. A sensitivity of 1.0 in CS2 does not feel anything like 1.0 in Valorant — because each game translates mouse input into camera rotation at a different rate, measured by a value called the yaw multiplier.

Why Does CS2 Feel Different From Valorant?
Both CS2 and Valorant are tactical FPS games with similar mechanics — but their mouse sensitivity systems are not compatible. Here is exactly why your aim feels off when switching without converting:
The yaw multiplier is the internal rate at which each game turns raw mouse movement (counted in dots) into degrees of camera rotation. CS2 uses 0.022 degrees per count. Valorant uses 0.07 — approximately 3.18 times higher.
This means if you play CS2 at sensitivity 1.0 and switch to Valorant at sensitivity 1.0, your camera will rotate 3.18× faster for the same physical mouse movement. Your muscle memory — built over hundreds of hours — becomes completely mismatched.

Pro tip:
Don’t copy a pro’s exact sensitivity. Instead, use their cm/360 as a reference. If their cm/360 matches yours, you’ll have the same physical aiming speed regardless of DPI or game differences.
Tips for Switching From CS2 to Valorant
1. Disable mouse acceleration in Windows
Go to Windows Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Mouse → Additional mouse settings → Pointer Options → uncheck “Enhance pointer precision”. Mouse acceleration makes your effective sensitivity inconsistent and will break converted sensitivity accuracy.
2. Enable raw input in both games
CS2 has raw input enabled by default. In Valorant, go to Settings → Controls and ensure Raw Input Buffer is ON. This bypasses Windows pointer settings and ensures your converted sensitivity works exactly as calculated.
3. Don’t adjust your Valorant ADS sensitivity immediately
Valorant’s default ADS sensitivity multiplier is 1.0 (same as hipfire). Start there after converting. Only adjust ADS after you’ve played at least a few sessions and identified a specific feel issue.
4. Give it 10+ hours before changing anything
The converted sensitivity will feel accurate immediately, but your mechanics for Valorant-specific movement (peeking, counter-strafing feel) take a few sessions to adapt. Resist the urge to lower or raise your sensitivity in the first two sessions.
