Apex Legends to Valorant Sensitivity Converter — How It Works
Apex Legends and Valorant use different internal sensitivity systems. Even though both games are fast-paced FPS titles, their yaw multipliers — the rate at which mouse input translates into camera rotation — are different, which means the same sensitivity number produces a completely different physical aiming speed in each game.
Important:
Apex Legends has two sensitivity values — hipfire sensitivity and ADS sensitivity. This converter uses your hipfire sensitivity only, which is the standard for cross-game comparisons. Your Apex hipfire sensitivity is found under Settings → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity.

Why Apex and Valorant Sensitivity Scales Are Different
Both Apex Legends and Valorant are FPS games where precise aim is critical — but the two games were built with different mouse input systems, and mixing their sensitivity values without conversion is one of the most common mistakes players make when switching between them.
Apex’s yaw of 0.022 is the same as CS2 — a widely used baseline in the FPS world. Valorant uses 0.07, which is 3.18× higher. Without converting, an Apex player who types their usual sensitivity (e.g. 1.5) into Valorant will immediately be playing at 3.18× faster than they are used to — their aim will feel completely out of control.

FOV Note:
Apex allows a higher default FOV (110°) than Valorant (103°). This makes your peripheral vision slightly wider in Apex, which can make the same rotation feel slower at high FOV. After converting, you may want to match FOV settings as closely as possible.

Tips for Switching From Apex to Valorant
1. Use hipfire sensitivity — not ADS
Apex has a separate ADS sensitivity setting that many players lower specifically for scoped or zoomed-in aiming. The converter uses your hipfire (base) sensitivity only. Do not accidentally enter your ADS sensitivity, which would produce an incorrect conversion.
2. Valorant’s movement is very different
Apex rewards mobile, aggressive play with abilities like slide and climb. Valorant’s movement is slow and deliberate — accuracy is only possible when standing still or counter-strafing. Your muscle memory for flicking and tracking will transfer, but your movement habits will need adjustment.
3. Expect your arm to move less
Apex’s higher typical sensitivity (1.5–2.5) combined with the 0.022 yaw means many Apex players have relatively short cm/360 distances. After converting to Valorant and seeing the equivalent eDPI, check whether the cm/360 output is in a range you are comfortable with.
4. Valorant time-to-kill is much faster
In Apex, slow sensitivities are more forgiving because TTK is slower and repositioning is possible. In Valorant, almost any ability or headshot can kill instantly. You may find after a few sessions that you want a slightly higher Valorant sensitivity than the converted value — that is a personal preference, not a conversion error.
5. Disable Windows mouse acceleration before playing
Go to Windows Settings → Mouse → Additional mouse options → Pointer Options → uncheck Enhance pointer precision. Also ensure Valorant’s Raw Input Buffer is ON in Settings → Controls.
