How this converter works: Each game uses a different yaw multiplier — the internal rate at which mouse movement turns into camera rotation. Formula: New Sens = (Old Sens × 0.07) ÷ 0.022 (then adjusted for DPI if changed). Valorant yaw = 0.07 · Apex Legends yaw = 0.022

Valorant to Apex Legends Sensitivity Converter — How It Works

Valorant and Apex Legends use different internal sensitivity scales. A sensitivity of 0.3 in Valorant does not translate to 0.3 in Apex — each game uses its own yaw multiplier, the rate at which a single mouse count is converted into degrees of camera rotation.

Valorant yaw = 0.07 · Apex hipfire yaw = 0.022

Apex’s scale is approximately 3.18× lower than Valorant’s. A Valorant sensitivity of 0.3 converts to approximately 0.9545 in Apex hipfire sensitivity.

Our converter applies the verified yaw multiplier for both games so your physical cm/360 rotation distance stays exactly the same — meaning your flicks, tracking, and micro-adjustments carry over without needing to relearn your aim.

Apex Hipfire Sens = Valorant Sens × (0.07 ÷ 0.022)

Apex Hipfire Sens = Valorant Sens × 3.1818

// Example: 0.3 × 3.1818 = 0.9545
// With DPI change: multiply by (Valorant DPI / Apex DPI)

How To Apply Your Converted Sensitivity In Apex

1

Enter your Valorant sensitivity

Find it in Valorant under Settings → Controls → Sensitivity (Mouse).

2

Add DPI only if switching mice

Leave DPI fields blank if you're using the same mouse in both games.

3

Click Convert

See your Apex hipfire sensitivity, eDPI, and cm/360 instantly.

4

Set it in Apex

Open Apex Legends → Settings → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity and enter the converted value.

Why Valorant and Apex Sensitivity Scales Are Different

Rainbow Six Siege was built on Ubisoft’s AnvilNext engine and uses a percentage-based sensitivity slider (1–100). Valorant uses Riot’s own engine with a decimal sensitivity value. Because the underlying yaw calculations per engine are different, the same number in each game produces a dramatically different physical aiming speed.

0.07

Valorant Yaw
(deg per mouse count)

Apex Hipfire Yaw

A Valorant player typing their sensitivity directly into Apex without conversion will find their camera rotates 3.18× slower than expected for the same mouse movement — flicks will fall short, and tracking will feel disconnected from input.

Valorant vs Apex — gameplay factors that affect aim feel

Movement Tip:

Apex demands fast reflexes for sliding, climbing, and repositioning during fights — your converted sensitivity gives you the same flick accuracy, but Apex’s mobility mechanics will take some practice regardless of sensitivity accuracy.

Tips For Switching From Valorant To Apex Legends

1. Set both hipfire and ADS sensitivity in Apex

Unlike Valorant, Apex separates hipfire and ADS sensitivity into two distinct settings you control directly. Our converter gives you the hipfire value. Start with Apex’s default ADS multiplier and adjust from there based on feel.

Common mistake:

Apex's default ADS sensitivity is often lower than 1:1 with hipfire. If your aim feels off only while scoped in, check your Apex ADS sensitivity setting separately — it is not handled by this converter.

2. Apex movement requires more mouse precision during fast actions

Sliding, mantling, and using tactical abilities all happen while you’re tracking enemies. Your converted sensitivity preserves your flick and tracking accuracy, but adjusting to Apex’s faster movement pace takes separate practice.

3. Increase your FOV gradually

Apex supports FOV up to 110°, higher than Valorant’s fixed 103°. A higher FOV makes the same physical mouse movement feel like it covers more screen space. This is a visual perception change, not a sensitivity issue — your conversion remains accurate.

4. Expect a longer adjustment period for fights

Apex’s slower time-to-kill means gunfights last longer and require more sustained tracking compared to Valorant’s instant headshot kills. Your aim accuracy transfers immediately, but pacing and positioning instincts take longer to adapt.

5. Verify mouse acceleration is off in Windows

Go to Windows Settings → Mouse → Additional mouse options → Pointer Options → uncheck Enhance pointer precision. Apex Legends has native raw input support, but disabling Windows-level acceleration ensures consistency across all your games.

Valorant to Apex Sensitivity — Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Valorant to Apex sensitivity formula?
The formula is: Apex Hipfire Sensitivity = Valorant Sensitivity × (0.07 ÷ 0.022), which equals Valorant Sensitivity × 3.1818. For example, 0.3 Valorant × 3.1818 = 0.9545 in Apex. If switching DPI as well, multiply further by (Valorant DPI ÷ Apex DPI).

No. This converter calculates your hipfire sensitivity only, which is the standard for cross-game muscle memory transfer. Apex has a separate ADS sensitivity setting under Settings → Mouse → ADS Sensitivity that you adjust independently — it is not part of this conversion.

Because Apex's sensitivity scale is roughly 3.18× lower than Valorant's, meaning the same physical aiming speed requires a higher number in Apex. A Valorant sensitivity of 0.3 becomes 0.9545 in Apex — different numbers, identical physical mouse movement for a 360° turn.
Yes. Apex's hipfire yaw multiplier (0.022) is identical to CS2's yaw multiplier. This means the Valorant to Apex conversion formula and the Valorant to CS2 conversion formula produce the same numeric result at the same DPI.
This converter only handles hipfire sensitivity. Apex's ADS sensitivity is a completely separate setting that does not automatically scale with hipfire. Adjust your ADS sensitivity manually in Apex's Mouse settings — many players use a 0.8–1.0 ADS multiplier relative to hipfire as a starting point.
Yes — use our dedicated Apex to Valorant Sensitivity Converter. The formula reverses to: Valorant Sensitivity = Apex Sensitivity × (0.022 ÷ 0.07) = Apex Sensitivity × 0.3143.
